Tubba-Gah (maing) Wiradjuri Aboriginal Corporation. Formerly "Wirrimbah Direct Descendants Aboriginal Corporation" The traditional custodians of Tubba–Gah Country where Dubbo sits.

Mission The aims and objectives of the corporation are many but include the following
Objectives The corporation aims to: (a) To bring together Tubba-Gah People for the purpose of making decisions and acting on any matters affecting the Tubba-Gah People; (b) To coordinate the management of native title benefits and outcomes on behalf of the Tubba-Gah People, including to manage funds, property, assets and compensation; (c) To fulfil the rights and obligations of the corporation and to act as agent and represent the interests of Tubba-Gah People in any Indigenous Land Use Agreement, s.31 Deed and/or Agreement entered by the corporation and/or Tubba-Gah People; (d) To liaise with neighbouring groups of Aboriginal people, Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALC’s) and other organisations or government agencies in relation to native title claims and/or matters relating to Aboriginal laws and customs; (e) should the Tubba-Gah People become a registered native title body corporate: i. to hold native title on trust for the Tubba-Gah People; ii. to deal with native title in accordance with the wishes of the Tubba-Gah People; iii. to hold compensation paid in relation to native title on trust for the Tubba-Gah People ; and iv. to act as an agent for native title holders from among the Tubba-Gah People where no trustee is appointed, and to perform the prescribed functions of a registered native title body corporate under the Native Title Act 1993. (f) To advance the health, welfare and self-determination of the Tubba-Gah People in any manner agreed by the members; (g) To protect and maintain the cultural heritage of the Tubba-Gah People. (h) To provide land management, environmental protection and cultural heritage services; and (i) to do anything incidental to and necessary or convenient for the carrying out of any of the objects. Dictionary “Tubba Gah People” means all the descendants of the following apical ancestors: Amy (also known as Jane Amy or Emily) Taylor (who was born in Dubbo around 1865). Harriet Taylor (who was born in Dubbo around 1866). Thomas Taylor (who was born in Dubbo around 1826). Billung Warrie (Grandfather of Robert Smith). “LALC” means a local Aboriginal Land Council incorporated by the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (NSW)
